Company method

Method before interpretation.

The same grammar is used wherever LFR has a qualified evidence base: preserve what was actually observed, state what was derived, mark what was assumed, and refuse what the trace cannot establish.

Boundary. This page describes the discipline. Domain claims still require their own contracts, manifests, trace packages, and verdict files.
Claim ladder

Six states we keep separate

Observable

What the record can directly show

Identity, time basis, channel, unit, cadence, and missingness are preserved before interpretation.

Derived

What a frozen transformation computes

Derived figures carry their source, method, and recompute path.

Assumed

What enters by contract

Assumptions are named so they do not masquerade as observations.

Unknown

What remains unresolved

Unknown is not a failure state. An unmarked unknown is.

Recomputable

What a third party can rerun

A result has no public authority unless its path can be checked within its boundary.

Not established

What the evidence cannot support

Unsupported claims are refused instead of softened into marketing language.

Instantiated fields

The grammar is shared; evidence is local.

GB Grid and Battery/BESS pages are field-specific implementations of this method. They do not inherit authority from this page; they earn it from their own records.
